Managing Director / President - Asia Pacific
Anthony is responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of Algeco Scotsman's Asia Pacific region (Ausco Modular Pty Ltd in Australia, Portacom New Zealand Ltd and Algeco Chengdong in China). He is a member of Algeco Scotsman's global Executive Team.
Anthony joined Ausco Modular in 2003 as Finance Director, before serving as Chief Operating Officer from 2008 to 2011. Prior to Ausco, Anthony spent six years with the Waco International Group in South Africa, four of these years as Finance Director of the group’s scaffolding and formwork operations. He also spent several years working for Deloitte and Touche in the Audit Division and then Management Consulting Division.
Anthony serves as the current President of the Modular Building Industry Association of Australia.
He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, and an Honors degree in Accounting Science from the University of South Africa.

Director - Strategy and Business Development
Ben joined Ausco Modular in 2007 as CFO, responsible for finance and IT, with overall responsibility for establishing the Stayover by Ausco (BOO) business. Ben is a Director of the company and in 2013 changed roles to be responsible for strategic development, business development and marketing across the APAC region. He is currently responsible for development of Ausco’s modular sale business in the healthcare, aged care, residential, commercial and industrial markets.
Ben has over 20 years’ experience in commercial management positions, predominantly within the construction and mining industries. He has held senior commercial management roles with Downer and worked throughout Australia on remote mining and infrastructure sites.
Ben is CPA qualified and holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Tasmania as well as a Masters of Business Administration from Queensland University of Technology.

General Manager - Human Resources
Jo joined Ausco in April 2015 as the General Manager, Human Resources and is responsible for leading the HR function covering all aspects of generalist HR, Payroll, ER/IR, Training and Development and Health and Safety within Australia Pacific. A key focus of Jo's role is to help drive transformational change across Ausco.
Jo has over twelve years’ experience in senior HR leadership roles spanning very diverse industries including large scale mining, engineering, construction and transport projects (such as the Airport Link and Roy Hill projects), aviation and air traffic control and the legal sector. Previous roles include ones with the Queensland Law Society, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Virgin Australia and Airservices Australia.
She has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Psychology (majoring in Organisational Psychology) from Griffith University, a Bachelor of Behavioural Science from Griffith University and a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Human Resource Management) from the University of Canberra.
Managing Director, Portacom Building Solutions
Martin has been employed with Portacom in various management positions since 1990. He began as the company Accountant, before quickly assuming the roles and responsibilities of Financial Controller. In 1996, Martin was made General Manager of Portacom, a role he held until the company was sold to Waco in 2000 when he was appointed Managing Director.
Martin is responsible for all of Portacom Building Solutions’ operations and business performance throughout New Zealand.
Martin has over 30 years’ experience in the New Zealand construction industry including holding various roles for Roofix NZ, Hawkins Steel and Hawkins Reinforcing.
Martin holds a National Diploma in Accountancy from Manukau Institute of Technology.
General Manager - Branch Operations
As the General Manager of Ausco Modular’s national branch operations, Rob has overall responsibility for the operational and business performance of all local branch hire and sale activity across Australia.
Rob joined Ausco in 2002, and has worked in business development as well as branch and regional management, before being promoted to his current role in November 2013.
In addition to his operational responsibilities, Rob has also overseen a number of national projects including the establishment and implementation of the Ausco integrated management system.
Prior to Ausco, Rob’s career spanned a number of business management positions for ASX-listed and multinational organisations. Rob also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Australia.
General Manager - Stayover by Ausco
As the General Manager - Stayover by Ausco, Roger assumes direct management responsibility for Stayover by Ausco (BOO) including overall P&L performance, business development and all operations.
Roger has been a part of the Ausco Modular business for more than a decade. During this time, he has assumed national, regional and branch management responsibilities across a diverse range of functions including sales, marketing, product development, procurement, legal and operations.
During his career, Roger has also held a number of General Management roles for ASX-listed and multinational companies across various facilities management, service and rental businesses. Roger graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Economics.
General Manager - Manufacturing and Engineering
As the General Manager of Engineering and Manufacturing Operations, Daemon is responsible for all aspects of productions and supply chain logistics management for Ausco Modular’s Australian manufacturing facilities. Daemon has been in his current role since 2004, and has worked for Ausco for over 15 years.
Additionally, Daemon is responsible for the structural design and value engineering of all manufactured product, new product development initiatives and the NATA laboratory.
Prior to this, Daemon spent six years as the WA Regional Manufacturing Manager for Ausco Modular/James Hardie Building Systems, and four years in the James Hardie Industries Graduate Training program.
Daemon holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Queensland University of Technology as well as a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University.
Chief Information Officer
Adam began with Ausco Modular as Chief Information Officer in 2012. His role encompasses the Asia Pacific Region. Brought on board to drive innovation - Adam has a passion for ICT stewardship and is focused on business enablement, cost control, risk reduction and competitive advantage.
Adam has held roles ranging from company director of ICT consulting organisations to CIO across a diverse range of industries. With extensive experience in Health Care (Royal Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Royal Melbourne Hospital), Legal and Accounting (Blake Dawson Waldron, Phillips Fox, KPMG), Finance (Australian Stock Exchange, American Express) and Manufacturing (Delta Group Australia, Valmont Industries).
Adam holds a Bachelor of Mathematics and is a member of the Australian Computer Society and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
General Counsel and Company Secretary
Adrian serves as General Counsel and Company Secretary responsible for the legal, risk, compliance and company secretarial functions across Asia Pacific for the Ausco Modular Group and parent company Algeco Scotsman.
Prior to joining Ausco, Adrian held a number of senior in-house legal roles within the mining and resource and engineering and construction industry. He also spent a number of years in private practice with a leading commercial law firm where he practiced in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, private equity, capital raising, joint ventures and general corporate and commercial advisory.
Adrian is admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of Queensland and holds a Juris Doctor (International Law) and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Bond University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Jyvaskyla University of Applied Sciences in Finland.
Chief Financial Officer
Andrew joined Ausco Modular as financial controller in 2008, before being promoted to the role of CFO in November 2013. He has overall responsibility for all finance management and financial planning of the APAC region which includes areas ranging from financial reporting, cash and treasury, tax compliance and overseeing the corporate shared services function.
Prior to joining Ausco Modular, Andrew held an Asia Pacific finance role for ASSA ABLOY, a global lock group, in addition to other similar senior finance management roles predominantly within the manufacturing and construction industries.
Andrew is a Certified Practicing Accountant, holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland.
General Manager - WA
Leo joined Ausco Modular in August 2014 as General Manager - WA to lead the company’s strategic and business development activities in the West Australian market.
With a career spanning 25 years across oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, mining and mineral processing related industries, Leo has successfully grown and managed a number of construction, manufacturing and distribution companies across the Asia Pacific region.
This experience combined with a diverse background in strategy development, long term planning, market analysis and commercial roles offers in-depth, bench strength capability for our expanding West Australian customer base.
A keen sportsman, Leo only recently retired from playing a form of AFL and cricket, but still plays golf, and is actively involved in a number of WA sporting clubs and associations.
Leo studied Engineering at Swinburne Institute of Technology before proceeding to Commerce at Monash University. He is immediate Past Chairman and current board member of the global charity Lord Taverners WA Branch and also serves on the Boards of a number of private companies.
