Ausco Modular delivers custom designed bath house on time and to budget.

With the ongoing Coal expansions in the Hunter Valley, Xstrata Coal required a new bath house to cater for an additional 70 underground miners, operating 24 hours a day.

Xstrata Coal needed the building in a short turnaround of four months to design, build and install the bath house with a full turnkey solution. Additionally, the client wanted to improve the design of bath houses commonly found in the industry, but couldn’t find the right solution within the time frame or budget set.

The building also required connection to a concrete waste tank with pump out piping as well as specialized lockers for wet clothing.

Ausco Modular welcomed the opportunity to be involved with this critical mine site facility and the successful completion of the project was a valuable experience to the business and it’s internal design, engineering, installation and project management teams.

The finished building incorporated high quality modern finishes and industrial grade floor and wall materials to provide a long lasting durable building that could withstand the demand of frequent use by the 24 hour underground mining teams.

Without a specific design, Xstrata tendered the design, installation and commissioning with all connections of a new bath house.

Ausco Modular delivered the turnkey solution on time and to budget.
