Queensland Prep Roll-out

The Qld Government launched Prep in 2004 with a commitment to have the system up and running by 2007. It was the largest capital works programme undertaken in the educational sector. Ausco brought its unique abilities in building green, modular and portable buildings to the project.

Ausco Modular’s NATA approved Engineering Lab assisted Education Queensland to design a product to meet:

• Architectural look and feel with a sense of permanency
• Light and ventilation required for effective learning
• The demanding environmental requirements throughout Queensland
• The durability required for younger students

In 2006 / 2007 Ausco manufactured and installed 250 new relocatable Prep Buildings throughout Queensland. Overall Ausco managed and delivered a high volume requirement with consistently high quality.
