Wednesday, 21 September, 2011

Ausco Modular has recently created two new senior roles in Western Australia, to lead the acceleration of key growth opportunities in its residential housing and Stayover® by Ausco divisions.

James Rowdon steps into a newly created senior business development role for the company’s Stayover® by Ausco business and will lead the identification and development of further villages in Western Australia off the back of its popular Kingfisher Karratha village.

Mr Rowdon has built long standing and robust relationships with Ausco’s Western Australia clients and within the modular industry during his eight years in Ausco Modular’s Western operation, and intends to leverage his unrivalled knowledge of the region to support Ausco Modular’s growth in this key sector.

Mr Rowdon will also oversee all business development in Western Australia, after being at the forefront of the company’s success over recent years.

John Zendler moves into a dedicated housing division manager role to support the company’s growing housing business. He will lead Ausco Modular’s Western Australia housing division to build on its growth and to showcase its extensive capabilities and expanding product range within the region.

“We continue to show our investment in Western Australia and these new appointments are no exception. We are committed to adding value to our customers and bringing on fresh and exciting projects,” said Ausco Modular managing director Anthony Walsh.

“We are incredibly excited to have James start his new role as Western region business development and Stayover® by Ausco manager, as his success in delivering some of Ausco’s largest projects will position him well for bringing new projects into our Western Australian business.

“In addition, John’s passion for Ausco Modular’s housing range and his energy and drive for the business, positions him to successfully grow the Western region housing division into a significant business for Ausco Modular.”

As a result of these key business development appointments, Simon Holtby joins Ausco Modular as General Manager – Western, and will be responsible for all operations and business performance.

Dr Holtby joins Ausco Modular with an engineering background and a great deal of experience managing large infrastructure projects, coupled with a Doctorate of Business Administration focusing on Organisational Innovation from Curtin University. Most notably, he was the CEO of Roadcare and oversaw the joint venture in Western Australia between Pioneer Road Services and Fulton Hogan.
