Ausco Modular’s market insight secures high profile contract
Ausco Modular, one of Australia's largest modular construction companies, has secured the contract to supply Rio Tinto's Argyle Diamond Mine with emergency staff housing, crediting market insight in increasing existing capacity as the driving forces behind its success.
With an urgent requirement of 200 staff living quarters needed, Ausco Modular exceeded time requirements by using existing stock to meet the rushed demand.
"Our ability to pre-empt the market and increase capacity to deal with demand has allowed Ausco Modular the flexibility and efficiency required to meet the high specifications of the client," said Western Australia regional manager James Rowdon.
With thirty buildings already in stock, amounting to 60% of the requirement, Ausco Modular was able to make swift changes installing split system air-conditioning units, televisions and bar fridges to ensure the en suited, four room staff quarters conformed to the client's requirements and deliver them almost immediately.
"Ausco Modular's ability to ramp up production to retrofit quickly is the critical factor in being able to deliver buildings exactly when the customer needs them."
The additional twenty buildings required for the project are in the final stages of completion.
Ausco Modular's unique design and high-quality construction capabilities provided the client with quick delivery and ability to fit into existing infrastructure.
